To amake money on eBay requires creativity and initiative. For those who are creative one of the best mediums for developing and selling information products is video. Video offer some great advantages to eBay sellers.

Unlike the reading that is required of e-Books and e-Reports, video uses two of the viewer’s senses; both site and hearing. This increases the potential for higher comprehension of the information. Many find watching a video to be much more enjoyable than reading as well.

With a little extra work, the sense of touch can be added to video as well. This happens when there are demonstrations that are followed by exercises or hands-on work by the viewer. Again retention of the materials is increased when this is done.

Tips For Buying At Online Auction Sites

If you are new to purchasing merchandise or services at online auction sites you may not know what to look for before you make a purchase. You want to be sure that you get quality merchandise for a great price from a trustworthy seller. The following are a few tips to remember when you are going to buy at online auction sites.

Tip #1 - Read the Description Thoroughly - If you are going to purchasing a product online at an auction sites you need to make sure that you read the description of the product in its’ entirety. You want to be sure that you know exactly what you are considering and what kinds of terms they have in mind. Reading thoroughly is very important because it will make you aware of payment options, shipping options and more.

Tip #2 - Check the Cost of Shipping - When buying from online auction sites it is also very important that you check out the cost of shipping before you purchase an item. As the buyer, you are responsible for paying the cost of shipping, but various sellers set different rates for shipping costs. Some rates are reasonable, while other sellers drive up the rates until they are totally unreasonable. You want to be sure that you pay no more than you have to in order to receive your item in a timely manner. Also check out which methods of shipping you will get for the money you will have to pay.

Tip #3 - Check the Seller Feedback - Taking a look at the seller feedback is very important if you are going to buy from an online auction. You want to be sure that the seller is trustworthy and see what other people have to say about this seller. If you see that the seller has had a great deal of negative feedback recently, then you may want to try purchasing the product from a seller with better feedback. You may also want to beware of purchasing from seller who have no feedback at all as well.

Tip #4 - Research Prices - Before you go ahead and make a purchase in an online auction, you need to take the time to do your homework. Be sure that you research the prices of the products that you are going to buy. Sometimes you may find that the seller is selling the product for far more than it is worth, and you may be able to get it cheaper from someone else. You should never make a purchase blindly because doing so may result in you getting the bad end of the deal. Doing the needed amount of research on the product will be worth the time you spend in the end.

If you are new to the online auction world, then you need to make sure that you keep these tips in mind. Buying at auction sites can be great, but you need to make sure that you do so only after you are aware of important things to look for. Consider your purchases carefully and the sellers that are selling them, and you will be better able to make the right decision.

5 Tips to Secure Your eBay Account

Most people know that the incidence of online fraud is increasing. Every day you read where credit card numbers are being stolen and identity theft is becoming a common occurrence. Some of this is due to the increasing knowledge and boldness of the cyber crooks, but a good deal of it is occurring because the average "lazy" web surfer has failed to implement any sort of security protocol. Here are 5 simple tips you can implement right away (today...), to make your eBay experience safer and more enjoyable.

Choose a strong password...

Most people overlook simple things. When was the last time you changed your password? Does your password have numbers AND letters? Is it a minimum of eight-characters long? A strong, hard to guess password is necessary to secure your account.

Don’t follow links to reach eBay...

What a simple way to safeguard yourself. Whenever you enter PayPal information, make sure you do so directly on the homepage at PayPal.com. If you are using Internet Explorer, look for authentication in the address bar (it should be green). Spoofing websites mimic original websites in look and feel, but will have some notable differences in the address bar. Also, make sure that you don't click through to eBay or PayPal from text links, or the emails you get in your 'Inbox' or 'Bulk Mail' box.

Use the eBay Toolbar...

Like it or not, you will get emails claiming to be from eBay or other sellers, giving you a link to follow and asking you to enter your eBay USER ID. Such emails, that you think are from eBay, but are really fraudulent are called "phishing" emails. The senders are attempting to steal your eBay identity by fraudulently securing your username and password. The eBay toolbar, offered as a free download from eBay, will verify that you are on the actual eBay website and will alert you to fraudulent websites.

Update Your Antivirus Software...

Antivirus programs that can catch "Viruses and Spyware" are a required item on your hard drive when surfing the net. Viruses can damage your computer operating system, and Spyware will monitor every website you visit as well as every keystroke you make. These malicious programs can run in the background undetected unless you have proper Antivirus / Antispyware software installed. You should also install and activate a good firewall to keep "outside influences outside" (Internet Explorer has a basic firewall included).

Monitor you account regularly...

This is an easy one to overlook. Check your account frequently for any unauthorized listings, emails, or charges. If you observe suspicious activity, you will need to contact eBay quickly to avoid further difficulties.

By taking a few minutes and implementing these 5 security tips you "WILL" make your eBay experience safer.

The Only Good Traffic is Targeted Traffic

Many people will tell you that any traffic is good traffic. Now, that is a very interesting concept. So if someone who is interested in cars is redirected to a site about pig feeding, you mean to tell me that is GOOD TRAFFIC? Oh please, the only people who tell you any traffic is good traffic are those who are trying to sell you something.

The truth is: The Only GOOD Traffic is TARGETED Traffic - and I will tell you why.

Let me ask you this question: Is it better to get 1000 random visitors to your site per day or 10 buying visitors to your site per day?

Think about it, if you are selling a product for $27.00 and a bunch of people who most likely have no interest in what you are selling visit your site in one day, how much do you think you would make for that one day?...Well what’s 27 x 0? (Or 27 x 1 if you are lucky)

Now how much do you think you would make if you got 10 targeted customers to you site in one day? 27 x 10 = 270. $270.00 a day is not bad, in fact, it is fantastic. You can quit your existing JOB with that kind of money. How much do you think $270 a day would mean for your monthly income? 270 x 30 = $8100....8100 x 365 = I think you get the picture of how important targeted traffic is for your website.

I hope this clears up any misunderstandings about traffic building

Home Based Business- 7 Great Reasons to Start Your Own

Are you tired of working for someone else, always working more but never getting paid more? Are you tired of never being able to show up for your child's school events, because you have a boss breathing down your neck?

Millions of Americans are starting their own home-based business. It doesn't matter if you are young or old, have a masters degree or a high school diploma. You can start your own home-based business with very little start up cost. I'm going to give you a few reasons why you should do this.

1. More time with family- This is something we all want. Think about this. You work 9-5. This is eight hours a day spent with your boss and coworkers, not counting the hour it took you to get to work and back home. You arrive home at 6 pm. Your kids are so excited to see you. They want to tell you all about their day at school. You try to listen attentively while you cook dinner. After you have all eaten and maybe watched a television program together, it's time to put the kids to bed. It's now 8:30 pm. You read the kids a short bedtime story. They quietly drift off to sleep. You look at their precious little faces, and your heart aches that you don't get to spend more quality time with your family. Why should you have to give your boss and coworkers the best part of you?

If you're a parent with a traditional 9-5 job, this is probably something you deal with everyday. You go to work day in and day out, spending the best part of the day with your boss and coworkers. You are left with just a few short hours when you get home every evening to spend time with your kids and husband while in between you are trying to cook dinner. This isn't how it should be, but you ask yourself, what else can you do? You are stuck in the daily grind of your job. You still have bills to pay and groceries to buy. Why not think about starting your own home-based business.

You don't have to be worried about quitting your current job to do this. Get on the internet and start looking. You will be overwhelmed at first. A home-based business can offer you the quality time with your family you truly deserve.

2. Flexibility- How many people can honestly say they go to work in their PJ's every morning, take a break whenever they feel like it, and run errands whenever they want to? A home-based business can offer you this kind of flexibility. Most people can't afford to quit their day job to start a new business, but it's ok. Here's where the flexibility part begins to play in.

Most home-based businesses can be started on a part time basis. You may only work your business a few hours a week. It's not the quantity of time, it's the quality of time you put into it that matters. Work your business whenever it fits into your schedule. It may be late after the kids go to bed or it may be early before anyone gets up. You decide!

3.NO Boss- Do You get tired of punching a time clock, someone constantly looking over your shoulder, telling you when and where to take a break? With your own home-based business, you're the captain of the ship. You are the boss. This means you are going to have to be disciplined. No one is going to do it for you. Just because you are at home doesn't mean you can spend 6 hours a day watching your favorite soap opera.

Write down some goals. This will help keep you focused as you grow your new business. Always know your "why". This is very important, as this is the reason you started your new business. When things get tough and you get frustrated, remind yourself of your "why".

4. NO Commuting- How would you like to save the money you spend every week on gas and use it towards a vacation. The average American is spending anywhere between $2.15-$3.00 per gallon of gas. What if you are driving sixty to a hundred miles round trip to work. Look at the money you could be saving in gas alone if you do not have to commute.

Plug in the numbers and see for yourself what kind of savings you could have. Not only are you going to be saving on gas, but the wear and tear on your car. This all adds up quickly.

5. Financial Stability- Do you avoid checking your mail like the plague because your afraid of what is inside. Does your phone ring off the hook because creditors are hounding you? If this sounds like your life, you may want to think about starting your own home based business. Starting your own business can give you that extra income you need to pay off those bills without quitting your current job. Once you get your feet on the ground, if you are willing to give your business 1-3 years for growth, you could surpass your current income while saving in other areas.

Most Americans carry an average of $8-$10,000 worth of credit card debt. Almost anyone can get a credit card these days. Most people should have only one credit card for emergencies. Think about getting one with a small credit line. If you only have a $1,500 credit limit, you can probably handle this. If you have one with a $5-$10,00 credit limit, you can get in over your head before you know it. I say this from experience. The smaller credit balances are better.

Financial freedom is something we all dream about, but for most of us it's not going to happen with our current jobs. The right home-based business has the ability to offer you and your family the financial freedom we all long for.

6. NO Daycare- Wouldn't it be a great feeling each morning to wake up and know your children are going to be with you all day and not some stranger? This is one of the hardest decisions we as parents have to make after having children. Having a home-based business allows you to stay at home with your children full time. You will be the one to hold them when they are sick, see their first steps, and hear their first words.

If you are one of the lucky parents who are fortunate enough to have friends or family who can watch your children when you are at work, great! But most aren't that lucky. You have to rely on daycare to take care of your children when you're at work. You try and tell yourself, ok, these are licensed staff members I am leaving my children with. But the thoughts of leaving them with strangers at all, makes you sick. Maybe your kids cry everyday when you leave them. That makes for a long, guilt-ridden day at work. I say this because I have been there and know what it feels like.

Your kids are going to get sick from time to time, but the odds of them getting sick as often it they are home full time with your are much less than if they are in daycare everyday. This means no calling into work, telling your boss you can't come in because you have a sick child. You will be home with your child to comfort him or her when they are sick, play with them, and take care of them when they are hurt. This is priceless and no one can do it better than you.

7. Tax Advantages- Many people don't realize the tax advantages offered with a home-based business. I definitely do not claim to be a tax expert, but there are many common things that can be deducted depending on what your business is

How to Create Multiple Streams of Income - A 6-Step Guide

What if you suffered a serious injury, leaving you strapped to your chair for the rest of your life, unable to provide for your family, incapable of leaving the house to go to work every day? Luckily, Internet income provides a solution both for those dealing with this predicament and for those who simply want to earn money without leaving the comfort of their armchair.

Affiliate income is the single best way to create multiple streams of income online without ever leaving the house. Better still, once you have put in the initial work and got the website up and running, your business will require absolutely no effort from your side to maintain, meaning that you can move on to bigger and better things even as money continued to trickle in, slowly but surely. How does one create multiple streams of income on the Internet? This easy 6-step guide will teach you how to become a professional affiliate marketer and amaze your friends with extravagant paychecks that you will receive every month without seemingly ever leaving the house!

1. Select a Market

This is the single most important step you will make as an affiliate marketer, as this is where you choose what product - or range of products - you are going to specialize in. There's nothing stopping you from working with just about everything, but it's always best to work in a market that you already know something about and where you can differentiate between good and bad products.

2. Select a Product

Now that you've chosen your market, your next step should be to pick the right product to promote. In general, there's always more than one products catering to the needs of the specific category of buyers; however, some of them are better than others, meaning that they will generate more sales (and therefore more income). Look for products with a good sales page and lots of verifiable testimonials - Clickbank is a great place to find some excellent affiliate programs.

3. Choose the Keywords

Now that you know what product you're selling, it's time to get serious! You now need to figure out what people are looking for in relation to this product or market. After all, you don't want untargeted visitors who don't care about this miraculous product you're promoting and only ended up on your site by accident, right? One of the best ways of finding keywords is to use http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com, which is free and gives you a good idea of what people are searching for and how often.

4. Build the Site

The next step in the process to create multiple streams of income is to actually set up your site! Don't worry, it's not nearly as difficult as it sounds - start by registering a domain name that contains your keywords (e.g, if the phrase you're targeting in Step 3 is "hair loss product", then try to register www.hair-loss-product.com - search engines will love you for it!).

5. Create Content

The next crucial step is to create content for your site which should be optimized around the selected keyphrase. Remember, in addition to targeted visitors, optimized content also means that your site will appear at the top of search engine results, beating even some of the more established websites in the field! Include affiliate links in your content to seamlessly integrate promotion and genuine information for optimal sales.

6. Promote Your Site

The final step in the process to create multiple streams of income is to promote your site! If you can afford it, set up a PPC campaign with Google Adwords - if you can't, not to worry, because you can still generate lots of visitors for free by submitting related articles to EzineArticles and GoArticles and including a link to your site in your biography box. So long as your articles are compelling and useful, you can expect a steady flow of visitors - and if you get really lucky, your articles will also be reprinted and published throughout the Net together with your biography box, providing you with tons of backlinks and plenty of visitors!

As you can see, you do not need much skill or experience to create multiple streams of income on the Internet. Keep in mind that, individually, a site is unlikely to earn you more than $10-$20 a day - however, 10 or 20 such sites could make you very rich, very fast (and that's not at all difficult to achieve - it's perfectly feasible to set up 2-3 such sites a day). Once you've practiced this winning formula, feel free to keep applying it to create even more multiple streams of income by adding more and more sites to your growing affiliate empire!

8 Tips for Beginner Bloggers

Making a living from blogging is a rather slow process. If you already have a job, you cannot progress very fast, so you can’t expect to quit that job it at least a couple of years. If you have resources to go for it full time, it’s faster, but still you can’t expect a decent monthly income in the first year.

Here you can find some rules which can help your progress:

1. When starting a blog, make sure that you pick an appropriate niche (do some keywords research, to see how many people are seeking that information over the net, and how much would advertisers pay per click)

2. Consider making a list of social bookmarking sites, as they can be a great traffic booster in the beginning, when traffic from search engines is almost zero. This is an example of what a social networking site can do to your traffic: "How to get longlasting traffic for your blog", published at www.AllTipsAndTricks.com

3. Update your blog regularly – this is good for getting & preserving loyal readers; you don't have to write 10 posts per day, you don't even have to write everyday. Just make sure that you pick a posting frequency and stick to it.

4. When monetizing your blog, don’t rely on a single source of income. There are lots of ways to get money out of your blogging work, so do a little research. A good read for beginners would be Darren Rowse’s Problogger.net. Yet, for small blogs, contextual ads are to be considered as a main income source, because they accept low traffic sites in.

5. Try to build inbound links. A good start is to submit your posts to blog carnivals. Or to participate in group projects organized by important bloggers. Or to write some good, useful content, people would link to.

6. Don’t give up after three months! Many people give up when they see that all their blog income covers only the hosting and 2-3 pizzas. This could be a situation which can last one year, but when you’ll get indexed by search engines and your blog will have thousands of pages, you’ll see the money coming in as well.

7. If something does not work, try something else. If something works, try to improve it, see if it can go even better.

8. Don’t use free articles from databases. It’s bad for search engines, as they will identify your content as duplicate and they won’t index it.

What Are AdSense Ready Web Site Offers?

There are all kinds of companies out there that offer to build an AdSense ready web site for just about anyone. But, do these really work is the big question people have.

The answer to that question is yes and no. Some companies that make AdSense ready web site offers are very legitimate and they can and do deliver on their promises. Others, however are a little bit shady. Telling the difference between the two can be very difficult, but in general, there are some ways to tell.

An AdSense ready web site on any topic that comes delivered in two-days’ time might not be the best, but companies that do the following things to build an AdSense ready web site might be the real deal:

·Work directly with a client to plan out the site. Rather than offering an AdSense ready web site on the topic of their choice, these site builders create everything from the ground up for the client. This means they work with the client to pick the focus, appearance and so on of the AdSense ready web site.

·Take input from the client. Many people who choose to create an AdSense ready web site pick topics they are familiar with or at least fairly knowledgeable about. Inasmuch, the person creating the AdSense ready web site should be willing to take input, content and other ideas from the client.

·Offer maintenance or teach it to the client. Getting an AdSense ready web site is great, but not being able to update it after it’s purchased is not. The most effective AdSense ready web site is one that can be added to and massaged through the weeks and months ahead.

·Customized designs. A stock AdSense ready web site might not be as effective as one that’s custom designed to fit a theme and the content on the sites. Companies that offer to do this along with the other things might be offering legitimate AdSense ready web site offers.

·Step-by-step process. Creating a custom AdSense ready web site takes some work. Those who offer to go through the entire process, from helping the owner pick out a domain name to final publishing of the site offer a full service that site owners can find invaluable.

Creating a web site from the ground up takes time and effort. Making that web site a big money maker will require dedication. Anyone can offer to deliver an AdSense ready web site, but not all can deliver. Those who offer to work directly with clients to create AdSense ready web site models are more likely to be able to deliver a product that will deliver. Be wary when looking at these offers.

Yahoo AdSense Offers An Alternative

Google isn’t the only kid on the block when it comes to online advertising possibilities. The Yahoo AdSense type service, too, can offer real income potential for publishers of web sites of all sizes.

Unlike Google’s service, Yahoo AdSense tends to provide advertisements to smaller and medium sized-web sites while also offering other advertising possibilities for larger companies, as well. The Yahoo AdSense service works in a similar manner to Google’s program, targeting ads to the content of the site, but it’s an alternative that’s getting some recognition.

The advantages of using Yahoo AdSense or Google’s programs for small, medium and even larger publishers are many. Let’s take a look at the benefits of Yahoo AdSense and similar ad programs:

·Targeted ads. Yahoo AdSense and other similar programs provide ads that are matched fairly closely to the content of a site. This means what’s already on the site will or should do the “selling.”

·Ads on every page. Every page of a web site can be a potential money maker with programs like Yahoo AdSense. The ads on each page are tailored to the content on that page, too. So the potential for some serious variety is present.

·Trusted company. Yahoo AdSense and other big name advertising programs tend to come from companies that people trust. This means there’s generally very little worry about getting paid or having major issues down the road.

·Attractive, relevant ads. Yahoo AdSense and other similar programs tend to offer pretty attractive ads that can blend into a site and give them the feel of belonging there.

Yahoo AdSense works in a very similar manner to other programs. To capitalize on Yahoo AdSense publishers need to do the following things:

·Create relevant sites. Yahoo AdSense operates like others in that it requires traffic to pay off. The best way to generate traffic is to create focused sites that have relevant, keyword rich content.

·Update. Yahoo AdSense pays out by the click in most cases, so it’s a good idea to keep web site’s fresh with new content to keep search engine rankings high. The more frequently updated content is, the better.

·Marketing. One of the best ways to drive traffic to a web site and make money from Yahoo AdSense and other similar programs is to market that site, as well. This doesn’t necessarily take a huge investment either. Talk up a site in other locations, exchange links and so on to help drive traffic to a particular site to make money using Yahoo AdSense.

Making money with Yahoo AdSense is a very viable option. Offering a solid and trusted way to generate money from just about any web site, this service can and does pay off

Start Your Adwords Campaign With a Killer CTR!

One of the main problems advertisers on Google have is getting a good CTR from the start of a campaign. Often, you start your ad and have to wait for the clicks until your CTR is high enough to be given good placement in the sponsored listings. Want to be sure you’ll get a killer CTR right off the bat?

Here's what you do...

Go to Google and search on a keyword or niche you’re looking to advertise on.

Take note of which ads come up on both the paid and above the organic listings.

Search for your keyword again, this time type a random string of numbers after the search term. (ex: keyword 2452456454)

Google should say “Your search - “keyword 2452456454 - did not match any documents.” If you see this, good, but we’re not done.

Did you notice that you still see ads displayed on the right under paid listings, and maybe a few above the organic listings? (left side of Google)

Google can’t show you real results because of your random character string, but it does still do some computer magic and spit out a few ads.

You guessed it. Those ads are shown because they have a high CTR. Google showed these, even though the advertiser wasn’t directly bidding on your search term because they have the highest CTR of all Adwords advertisers for your search term.

Now you simply need to use those ads as a template for your own Adwords ad, and you can sleep nicely knowing that you’ve started with an ad that will pull in the clicks.

10 Reasons Why People Fail To Earn Money Online

They fail to write a business plan. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Not having a business plan means you don’t have any firmly set goals. Along with a business plan you should have a marketing plan that clearly outlines your advertising budget and what you plan to do if something goes wrong.

They can’t stick to what works. Instead of having and focusing on a few affiliate programs that work for you, become a chronic opportunity seeker and hop from one work at home business opportunity to another. You never give yourself a chance to grow a single business.

They don’t know their business. People never get to know their business inside and out. They don’t know what sets them apart from the rest, how their business helps to serve the public and what strategies to use to make it better.

They put more emphasis on the “home” part of “work at home”. They are so caught up with the notion of getting to work from home that never they actually come to terms with the fact that this is work. In fact it may be one of the hardest things you ever you do.

They don’t put advice into practice. There’s a lot of information out there. Good, useful information to help you earn money online can be found both online and offline. Your business can take a 180 if you only implement it. But many people get information and tuck it away somewhere without ever using it.

They put web creation before content creation. They spend so much time trying to make their site “pretty” That they forget to add any real information to get browsers to come back. Your flashy welcome sign can only do so much.

They neglect their babies. It’s either because they have too many websites or they get bored, whatever the reason many people forget to revisit their websites and look at it from a consumer point of view. Do your links work, is your content up to date, is it easy on the eyes. Even if you have 50 websites you have to show them a little TLC every now and then.

They lose touch. They don’t keep in contact with their list frequently enough. It’s not as if your list is holding their breath waiting for an email from you but they did take the time to sign up to your newsletter, you can a least drop a hello.

They trade dollars for hours. You’ll never earn money online by trading dollars for hours. It won’t kill you to miss your favorite TV show or opt out of a movie. But many refuse to sacrifice a few hours of “fun” to make money online. They spend more time surfing the net for jokes and gossip than actually working. Quite surfing the net and get to work.

They don’t understand the concept behind the task If your promoting because its part of the job description your wasting your time. It’s not enough to just do things, you need to know why you are doing it. Otherwise you’ll fail to see the bigger picture and you’ll continue to make the same mistakes over and over again.

Making Yourself Heard

You've set up your business. You have your inventory. Now what? If you're like many businesses and individuals, you have a blog. This is your soapbox, your means of keeping in touch with your clients and potential clients. Your next hurdle--how to be heard?

First of all, a blog can be a very versatile selling tool. With an Amazon Affliate account (http://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/join), you can create links for products to put on your website. Amazon will pay you to sell. Anther affliate program is ShareASale (http://www.shareasale.com). Ads from a variety of businesses can beplaced on your site to earn you cash. Numerous other sites offer similar programs. Buy something online and there's sure to be a referral link. CafePress.com and Zazzle.com are two examples.

Ads may make your site visually appealing, but the problem still remains, how to get people to view those ads. There are many options here. Posting articles on a site such as EzineArticles is a good start. There's great selling power in being viewed as an expert. You may also consider submitting your active blog to BlogExplosion.com. By viewing other blogs, you earn credits that translate into banner ads for your blog. The site is very active, the array of blogs, mindboggling. Surfing other blogs is a good way to pick up tips and get ideas for your own blog. I make it a point to surf blogs on another tab in Firefox while I'm reading emails.

Another option for traffic to your blog and for earning online is Squidoo.com. Squidoo operates with what they call, lens. Lens consist of a variety modules you can add. Modules include those for selling items such as Amazon, feeds for your blogs, simple text boxes to write about whatever interests you. You can add lists of websites, your favorite books, your top 10 lists. Have a CafePress store? Get more exposure by posting items on your lens. Have a book for sale? Add it to your Amazon module. I have several lens on Squidoo, each highlighting a particular interest of mine, including watercolor, writing my first mystery, my cat, Sophie, and fitness. The more lens you have, the more diverse the audience you reach.

Finally, find forums of your interest. If allowed, make sure and include a signature with your blog URL and post often. Marketing online requires effort. In addition to your active part, make sure you have a presence in a variety of venues to make yourself heard.

How To Generate Loads Of Free Traffic To Your Website

One of the most popular ways to generate free traffic to your website these days is to use a free traffic exchange service.

A traffic exhange is website service that enables you to view someones website, and others in turn view yours. You earn credits when you view someones site,
and you use those credits to have others view your site.

Internet marketers would like to know how to bring traffic to their
websites quickly, without spending any money. Traffic exchanges can
accomplish this.

The greatest benefit comes in when you sign up others and receive
traffic from their efforts.

The different types of exchanges are start page exchanges,
manual surf, and auto surf.

The key is to join more than one exchange, it could be start page,
manual or auto surf exchange, and promote them to get referrals.

Go to any search engine such as yahoo or excite, and search for traffic
exchanges. There are hundreds, with new ones being established everyday.

With all the traffic exchanges you find from the searh engines,if you
join them, you will increase your traffic greatly.

Boost Web Traffic in 5 Specific Steps

What's the number one problem facing website owners? It's not hosting cost or creating good content or finding good images. It's getting good quality traffic, getting visitors' eyeballs to your site. Below are five specific, easy techniques to boost your website traffic.

1. Create your own web ring. You will gain highly targeted traffic to your web site and others will link to your site because they'll want to join the ring. For example, if you were selling products to net marketers, you would want to start an online marketing web ring. You would then draw your target audience.

2. Remind your visitors to promote your web site. Use phrases like: "Refer Our Web Site To A Friend" or "Link To Our Web Site". Scripts are available online to add code to your site so all they have to do is click a link or button. Offer them incentives for referrals, such as free e-books, reports, software and other informational products. You could also offer them discounts on other products you sell.

3. Blogging can no longer be overlooked as just a fad, either. A relevent blog entry with a link back to your main site is a surefire way to get indexed by the search engines much quicker than manually submitting your site to Google or MSN. If your topic is good enough, it can also be picked up by the “blogosphere” and copied to countless blogs around the net (hint: use Pingomatic.com to increase the likelihood of this happening).

4. Along with blogging is “the next great thing”, podcasting. With the popularity of portable MP3 players, getting your message out there as a free MP3 download—without it obviously being an ad—is another great way to get free targeted traffic to your site. In fact, you can simply record already-existing content that you have and not have to spend any money creating the MP3! It's yet another channel of distribution, and it's portable, so people can listen to it even when they're away from their computers.

5. Get an XML sitemap for your website, then submit it to Google, Yahoo!, and MSN. This is a super-easy way to get them to spider your website and get listed faster, and you can even specify which pages to list. Search for xml sitemap and you'll find free tools to do this.

OK, so I'm putting in one last step, which perhaps should be the first (think of it as a bonus step). Think of a domain name for your web site that's easy to remember. It should be related to what your business does, sells or provides, such as onlineincomegenerators.com. Ideally you should try to work in some of your main keywords into the name (see below for a site about marketing). If there aren’t any business names available, use your actual birth name (or a variant thereof, perhaps with an initial, since the trend in recent years has been for companies to register last names as domains then resell the first names as subdomains). Also consider different domains—don't limit yourself to just .com when there are at least eight other domain extensions to choose from. You could at least brand yourself. Your own name will give you credibility. And don't necessarily limit yourself to one domain name, either.

Start with these six steps and you'll be on your way to boosting your website traffic for virtually no cost.

How To Achieve Higher CTR on Adwords/Adsense

If you hear about people achieving high payments per click with AdSense, remember that's only part of the story. You also need lots of page views and a high click-through rate.

Here are some ideas on how to achieve those three things:

* If you're starting a fresh designing a site specifically for AdSense revenue, you'll want a simple design that makes it easy to paste Google's code into a horizontal or vertical space on the site. For experienced webmasters, that's easy.

* To increase your click-throughs, design a simple, uncluttered page with the AdSense ads displayed prominently.

* Use white space, so that the AdSense panel catches the eye.

* Stick to only one topic per page – that should make it easier for Google to serve up highly relevant ads on your pages.

* Plain, bland pages with few competing hyperlinks should result in higher click-through rates on the AdSense ads.

* If you want to target certain high-priced keywords, use them in the file name, in the heading on the page, and in the first paragraph – in other words, use search engine optimization techniques.

* If you change those keywords, Google will change the ads that appear on your page.

* Watch out for cases where Google has guessed wrong, and is displaying ads that won't interest your visitors. Figure out which words are involved, and rewrite those words. Help Google by sticking closely to the topic.

* Don't worry about losing traffic via those clicks. If you can earn maybe 30 or 50 cents or more per click, you WANT to lose visitors!

* You'll also want keyword-rich pages, optimized to rank highly in search engines, so you can serve lots of pages.

* Where possible, use skyscraper ads, high on the page. They catch visitors' attention more than horizontal banner ads.

* One of the beautiful things about AdSense is that you can now generate revenue from informational sites even if there are no obvious related affiliate programs. With 100,000 advertisers, there's a good chance that Google will find ads that match your pages, better than the big ad networks can.

* Don't be tempted into trying to create thousands of spammy computer-generated articles. Human beings review sites for AdSense. Build useful, interesting sites. Google likes them.

Even More Tips

1. Have a look at the top 100 keywords on 7search. This will give you a quick idea of keywords that people are willing to pay big money for. You can also type phrases into the 7Search Keyword Suggestion Tool. This is just step one of your keyword research. You'll want to dig deeper.

2. At FindWhat pay-per-click search engine you can do a search for any phrase and quickly see how much advertisers are paying per click.

3. If you have a Google AdWords account, you can experiment. Pretend you are planning to advertise using different keywords, and see how much you'd have to pay. That will give you a good indication of the popularity of the keywords.

4. You can also experiment typing words into Overture's View Bids Tool. Let's say you type in "asbestos cancer . The top three advertisers often pay about $12 per click. So that would be an good choice for a topic – provided you're a specialist on mesothelioma.

For "debt consolidation", the top two advertisers often pay more than $9 per click.

5. The Overture Keyword Bid Amounts Lookup Tool speeds up your research at Overture. Type in a keyword and learn how much advertisers are paying per click at Overture and also find out how many searches were done on that keyword last month.

For "debt consolidation", the top two advertisers often pay more than $9 per click.

6. KeywordSleuth is a wonderful tool for very fast keyword research. You can find hundreds or even thousands of keywords – or key phrases – with just one click. It's fabulous to use if all you want is to find an enormous number of related key phrases with one click – much better than messing around with Overture. Try the free trial.

7. You can use Wordtracker to look for the 1,000 most popular keywords. You can also use it to compile a useful list of keywords relating to one topic. If you buy it for a day or a week, you can do a lot of research in that time. There's a free trial, too.

8. The brainstorming and research tools in Site Build It! are my favorite way to do research for keywords that are in high demand and low supply.. SBI is a superb tool – actually, a suite of tools. It's an all-in-one web hosting, site-building and web marketing tool. Type in a keyword and SBI Manager will present you with dozens of profitable keywords – ones with high demand and low supply. It can present them in order of profitability. Drill down, and you'll get dozens more profitable keywords.

It also has an "Analyze it" tool that helps you build keyword-rich pages that rank highly in search engines. It's simply superb. I use it and love it. Site Build It! is an excellent choice for quickly building large, simple sites designed to rank highly in search engines – which makes it perfect for generating lots of AdSense revenue. My Site is Rejected From Adsense

Of course, if your site is rejected, it doesn't mean it is poorly developed. There may be other reasons. See below:

1. Is your site an "About Me" page? Google does not accept these kinds of personal sites because most of them do not have a specific topic. They are usually just random facts about the web site owner. It would be difficult for Google's technology to display targeted ads on these kinds of pages.

They are looking for sites that contain a generous amount of information on a certain topic. It could be anything from golfing tips to hair care techniques. Just make sure there is an obvious theme with original content.

2. Is your site organized? Be sure your site has a neat and clean navigation that's easy to follow. Also ensure all the links work and that there are no typos. Keep the colors to a minimum and make sure each page has a consistent layout.

3. How many pages are on your site? Even though Google doesn't specify a page number requirement, they are obviously looking for web sites with a decent amount of content. Again, it's not likely a two-page site will get accepted. Try to strive for at least 20 pages.

4. Is your content solid? Don't just submit a web site with a bunch of links to other sites. Be sure you have enough original content of your own to make your site unique.

5. Be sure to read the program policy and procedures carefully and make sure your site hasn't violated any of the terms.

Do You Make These Mistakes With Adsense?

Don't you think it is fascinating that with so many Adsense publishers, all setting up hundreds of sites, they have absolutely no idea who their clients are? The first rule of setting up and maintaining a successful business is thorough knowledge of your client.

Let's flip the coin and look at it from another angle. Google does not pay you for clicks on your site; the Adwords advertiser is forking out the money for your checks. The reason why he advertises is to sell a product or service or to drive people to his site for a subscription or whatever reason. He is doing it to gain a business advantage.

The question here is: Are you giving him an advantage or are you just costing him money?

You have heard "˜Adsense is dead' or "˜there is not so much money to be made from Adsense as in the past'. Most Adsense publishers think they have to set up a few more sites which will make up for the lost income. Dead wrong.

The reason for the downward spiral in Adsense income originates from untargeted ads on web pages. Most people would love to place the blame at the doorstep of Google, but this is not the case. The problem lies with the publishing of thousands of websites solely intended to get clicks, thus optimized for the search engine and not giving a second thought to the advertiser from Adwords.

The result from the misuse of Adsense is obvious. In most of the current Adwords information products one of the first warnings you are given when placing adwords ads is to remove the link to advertise on the content network. The reason is simple; the ads appear on untargeted pages leading to untargeted customers. This is a waste of the advertiser's money and a direct loss of income for the Adsense publisher. All the serious Adwords advertisers are not advertising on the content network, which in turn leads to less competition. The cost per click on a content page is far less that the cost on a generic page search.

Adwords and Adsense will never die and is and will remain one of the top income earners for many internet marketers.

So what now? The answer lies in improved sites with quality content. Play with the search engine not against it. If you want to compete with a search engine start your own. Not impossible, Google did it and succeeded.

So what exactly is improved content?

The keywords you are optimizing for should relate to your web content and add value for the visitor. This does not mean you have to write one thousand word pages all on your own. One to two hundred words per page will be fine as long as it answers the question or part of the question that the visitor was searching for with the search term. From there on the page can lead to Adsense ads and a click on the link will be a targeted visitor for the advertiser.

You also do not need to write each page yourself, you can still use PLR content and articles for your sites just make sure that the main question that the visitor would have when searching for that term is answered and lead them further to more specific information through Adsense ads.

Can you imagine the joy on your face when receiving a five figure check from Adsense, and think of the joy you would place on the face of the Adwords advertiser also receiving a five figure payday?

Once you have your site set up correctly there are a few elements that you need to give attention to. The truth about Adsense placement is that there is a trick to it. For high CTR your ad placement must be highly optimized.

I have seen this myself in testing different Adsense placement methods. One placement for all does not work. On certain pages it would be higher up and on others it would be lower down.

It is all dependent on the content of the page and the question you should ask yourself is at which point in the content is the visitor the most likely to want more specific information. If you write your content yourself you should write it in such a way that you give information and then raise curiosity, and it is at that point where your ad should appear for the first time. By utilizing this method and keeping your content targeted you will receive many clicks and your Adwords advertiser will receive the targeted visitors he wants.

Are you beginning to see how important it is to get the content and your ads right Now, let me ask you this: Are you one of the Adsense publishers who are costing advertiser's money or are you one that actually help make advertisers money?
